Trenching Support, Excavation and Dredging

Trenching Support, Excavation and Dredging are operations involving excavation of material from the seabed to form a channel, most commonly a prerequisite to cable or pipe lay operations. There are different methods currently used to create a trench. The techniques used depend on a seabed constituent: Ploughing, Jetting, Dredging, Mechanical Excavation, Cutters.
